Hi I am an artist and currently looking into assumptions and how there are many different versions of me out there that may be very different to how I perceive myself. I am in the process of conducting a survey using strangers and colleagues who don't know me that well to find out what their perceptions are of me, my life, my personality/nature, likes/dislikes etc... based on just my look on the day.
This will evolve to a self portrait series depicting myself in the many different versions people see me as.

Researching this idea I came across this article.
Thank you, I really like the bit about questioning our assumptions.
